Gone with the rain
This was my first attempt with an acrylic painting while referring to a sample put up on deviantART.

Looks like my painting has failed in many aspects:
1. Overall, it obviously looks not vibrant enough.
2. It looks more like a watercolour painting than an acrylic painting.
3. I had problems mixing the right green, therefore the trees look rather strange.
4. The ground was so difficult to paint but I managed to make it look slightly like a wet ground, but not enough.
5. I used too much black due to plain laziness to mix my own colours.

Overall, my piece just looks slightly ‘off’, with a lot of room for improvement. Anyway, this was my first attempt, and it was a good and enjoyable one.
