In need of a reshape
Exercise, was a word I once fancied hearing, or rather fancied doing. In fact, I was totally obsessed with exercising and playing sports, but that was almost more than 10 years ago. In my early teens, I was slim(mer), my complexion was tanner, and my muscles were firmer. Those were the days, the good old days of looking more fit.
My physical stamina has deteriorated so much in the past decade that I dare not believe my current capability, or rather my incapability. I silently feel ashamed of myself when older people jog past me while I was busy catching my breaths and resting my lactic-acid-filled muscles.
I know it is an odd time of the year to make a resolution. New year is about two months away and yea, I actually can’t wait for the next two months to pass quickly. 2010 is indeed going to be a changing point for me. I am going to move from my status as a student (for the past God-knows-how-many-years) to an employee of NHS (National Health Service). A big jump, it indeed is.
I need to put my lethargic image away. Now.
