Four-fifth to THE DAY
One fifth of this academic year is over, and I will continue to count down till THE DAY. 7 weeks of my first rotation flew past like it was just 2 weeks. It was enjoyable from the aspects of the flexibility of my timetable, friendly and approachable staffs, my kind and helpful supervisor and most of all, it as different from everything that I have done before. Although what I see everyday is a mere black and white, like

I still think there is a lot of colours to it than just the black and white. This aspect of medicine is like an art, not that abstract, not that vivid. It is a piece of art that you cannot just interpret however way you want to, but there is a story hiding in it which you got to find out. These pieces are dead, but when you look at them, they stare at you as if telling you they need help.
So in short, I did not regret picking this specialty using my “ruling out technique”. It doesn’t matter if I didn’t bear any bit of interest in it before, most importantly, I came out with a smile, and more interests than I originally had.
