Canon in C
Prior to May this year, I have lost touch with piano for almost 7 years. My first and only piano which served me for 11 years was sold when I gave up on my diploma 7 years ago, and since then I never imagined that I would be sitting before a piano playing a song again.
I was never good at it, and I knew I wasn’t born talented in it. But whenever I get to play a good song, it was like nourishing my heart cells with nutrients. It was just so satisfying.
Canon in C to many people is probably a very simple and common song, but somehow I really like it. Whenever I play it, it makes me feel like my fingers still work well, and my heart smiles.
It is just one of those little things that makes me happy.
